About Beyond 20/20
Beyond 20/20 has supported publishing of Statistics Canada data for more than 20 years. Beyond 20/20 is designed to present multidimensional data in a manner that is easy to view, easy to analyze, and easy to understand – for any user. Approximately 90% of the data on the CSDS website is contained in Beyond 20/20 tables, which have the extension ".ivt" (or ".ivt") at the end of the file name. You will require Beyond 20/20 Browser software to view this data.
Installing the Beyond 20/20 Browser
You can check if you currently have Beyond 20/20 Browser software installed by looking at the list of "All Programs" in your start menu, if you do not have the software you can download it here for free.
You may need to contact your IT department for assistance in installing software on your computer.
Use Beyond 20/20 Browser
With Beyond 20/20 installed on your computer you can view and manipulate the data that Community Data Consortium has made available to members.
While the tables will appear similar to Excel and other spreadsheet softwares there are siginificant differences. We encourage users to download and save the following QuickStart Guide from Statistics Canada:
